Any idea if the Blaze will have better battery life than the Charge HR? I'm on my 2nd one of those in less than a month and the battery life is pretty horrific.

Unfortunately, i have followed your battery saving instructions with my Blaze, but it doesn't make it far into the 3rd day. I should have kept my Surge as its battery life was much better. I realize that 5 days is a maximum, but I'm continuously seeing less than 50% of that claim.

My fitbit Blaze lasts one day maximum in charge. I only synced to my phone for about 10 mins, 1 day a week to log my stats. I’ve made a bad decision buying this watch, and I’ll be returning it.
I work with 4 other people who are also having the same exact issues.

My last 2 charges lasted 6 days. When I get the low battery warning I can go 24+ hours before charging.

Got my Blaze on Monday charged it over night and been wearing since Tuesday. Like it so far however....
Today (Thursday) it went from medium charge as seen in this image to dead. With no warning. I just wanted to know the time, went to look and saw the red flashing battery. It synced about an hour and a half ago and the battery was as in the photo....
Do I have a problem? Is there a fix? Or do I need to return this...

Super frustrating, right? I have a gym session planned right after work which I was interested in capturing with my new toy! 🙂
Hoping a mod or support person can jump in here!

I am currently trying the Blaze with the quick view and All day sync (off) as well, to see if this will imporove battery life. Currently only last 2 1/2 days before I get the low battery alert (Think thats 1/3 power left).

@AlbertStClair Currently I'm averaging 3.75 days over the last 4 weeks with wearing the Blaze 24/7, Quickview ON, Auto HR and no timed exercises. I never have all day sync set. It was dragging the Android battery down.
I have just started the same test.Quickview OFF, Auto HR ON and NO all day sync and still wearing 24/7 except in the shower.
5 days ago I had one bad day where I only got 24 hours but I put that down to a very heavy day in the gardening, including power pruning and cutting, so heavy I had a sweatband on to protect the Blaze. I blame the sudden loss on the type of arm movements abd quickview was probably coming on repeatedly.
So far into 2nd day the battery symbol is showing high on the PC Dashboard.
I have had 2 instances where I received the low battery warning and then within the hour it was totally flat. But I normally sync at regularly whenever I access the phone so there hadn't been a delayed response.

After 3 1/2 days battery is displaying medium power.
On day 4 blaze is on Low.
4 1/4 days Blaze says Battery Empty on Phone however icon is blinking on Blaze. It has been like this 45 45 mins.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents to the conversation, I put my Blaze in the charger every day after work, both to have it off my wrist for a couple hours (to avoid that rash issue which started very quickly after I got my first one) and to sync through the dongle to my PC, since it won't sync between my (compatible) android phone. Lots of issues with this, it's a shame as I really like it a lot already! Anyway, last night I went to bed with a fully charged fitbit Blaze and woke up to it completely dead. It's still only about a week old (was originally sold the small size by the salesperson but that rash issue happened so after a week of that one I exchanged for the large for more breathing room) so I hope this isn't yet another problem I have to 'work around'!

@SunsetRunner I do, and I did see that people were suggesting that might be the culprit, but up until last night that (or battery life in general) hadn't been an issue. If that's it, it's kind of irritating to have a feature that's unuseable even if you're charging at least once a day.

Yes, @admathas I mentioned this to Fitbit mods a couple of times, after finding the bug soon after release. Basically, if quick view is enabled the Blaze will randomly switch on the screen and leave it on. Hence rapid battery drain. When I've caught it, a swipe to another screen and back clears it but it is annoying and, if at night when you're asleep, a sure way to kill the battery. (And this shows that those who want the screen on all the time are very optimistic. The battery won't last)
What I do is just disable quick view when I go to bed. Chances are, during the day I'll catch it.
