Any idea if the Blaze will have better battery life than the Charge HR?  I'm on my 2nd one of those in less than a month and the battery life is pretty horrific.

Mine lasts about a week but I had that issue at first. Reset it and that should help. It helped me.

Don't worry the orange level will usually last 2 more days. At that stage it is medium.

I am on my 2nd blaze fitbit.. the first one was a nightmare.. between the shocks, burning and having to charge every 2 days, I finally took it back.. On my second one now and still only get 2 days battery life.. I am NOT impressed.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've worn mine everyday for 17 months and have only ever charged it every five days. I don't wear it to sleep, however.

KaronaRuth:  When I got my new Blaze (2nd one also) I was advised to turn off my notifications, heart rate status, reminders, and especially turn off All-Day Sync.  I was disappointed I had to do all that because it works like a simple Fitbit without extras, but the charge lasts 6-7 days.  So, there is a trade off.

My blaze was only needing charge after 4 days, now I'm having to connect for charging after 18 hours or so of continuous use.

i have checked everything to get this sorted but still having issues.

Been through 4 charges and one blaze. Batteries do not last - Blaze now lasts about 3 hours . Support not interested as about 18 months old. Cannot replace battery ( unable to find one to replace it with 😞 ) would advise anyone to steer clear ! £2 / week for this unit is unacceptable.

Mine will not hold a charge for a full day!! And the heart rate has stopped working all together! Very aggravating

I've worn mine daily for a year and a half and have never gotten less than 5 days. I charge overnight every 5 days and it's never died.

@KTJPSY Same here and worn 24/7 except for showers. Also charged with a powerboard with USB connectors as needed, about one hour.

What does it mean if my 2 year old blaze fitbit charged battery only lasts about 40 minutes?

When I was at the point my Blaze Fitbit would no longer charge, I was able to ask Fitbit for a new charger at no cost.  That did resolve my problem because my new Fitbit charger, keeps the battery charged up to 7 days.

Another thing I found to make my charge last longer than 5 days, is that I had to stop using the heart rate monitor and notifications screen. You have to make a choice what priorities you have when it comes to battery life.

So it's the charger, not the unit. Thanks for the tip.

Often times you may be advised to replace your unit, but it is a good idea to ask to replace your charger before you make a decision.

Thanks, I do think the charger is the problem.
