Blaze battery short life

The original charger for this product broke at the hinge,  so I bought a replacement charger, everything seemed to work right, it would charge the blaze and the battery life was approximately 5 days, then just recently the battery started draining quickly, had to be recharged every night, thought that maybe it might be related to the new charger not charging properly, so I was able to get the battery charged with the original charger, was a little bit of a challenge since it has a cracked hinge, let it charge until it said battery had a full charge , then after a day still having the same problem the battery is only lasting about 22 or so hours still have to recharge daily

Hi there @Ed10knee. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with the battery on your Blaze not lasting as it should and thanks a lot for trying different chargers to see if that made any difference.

I can recommend putting your tracker to charge and once it's fully charged, take it off the charger and put it on. Sync it and use it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync it frequently after this (every one or two hours at least) so that the battery levels are recorded on the app logs and once the battery dies, let me know so that I can take a closer look and then we can move forward with other options to get you back on track.

I'll be looking forward for your reply!

I have synced the blaze as recommended by the post and try to remember to make sure it is synced through out the day. Even with the all day sync applied. Hope this works,  because I believe it us a problem with the battery itself, I don't see how syncing the blaze to app can extend a batteries charge

I'm also having issues - my Blaze is losing charge with no warning. I put it on charge (in the original charger)until it shows full, then sync it with the app and it shows full. I then sync it throughout the day but it still dies by mid afternoon! Last night i charged it to full, put it o at just after midnight and it was dead again before morning (PS its only 4-5 months old) - Help!!!

Fully charged the battery,  synced it then make sure it was synced through the day battery needed to be charged again by the end of the day

Bought my Blaze in November, worked perfect ever since. However, two days ago my Blaze drained surprisingly. Usually I charge it around once a week and I was fairly sure I'd done it recently. I charged it for an hour or so as I needed it and a few hours later it was dead again! I then charged it over night to make sure it was full, and again within a few hours it was dead again. After another nights charge (and some of the afternoon before!) it's dead again now! Between 8am and 11am! I've been out for a 45 min walk! I've also noticed that it has stopped reading my heart rate.

Any ideas?

Was there any solutions to why the battery life isn't holding up. I am also having the same problem but only last a few hours.

Hi, yes the solution was that Fitbit contacted me through this community and sent me a new one! Fitbit was kaput! One the administrator’s here started the ball rolling having seen/got involved with the post.
