It really is quite remarkable for a Fitbit to literally die after only a year and a half of "casual" use. I rarely track anything significant and primarily use it as a watch. And then without warning the buttons stop working and the battery won't hold a charge. I followed instructions to restart, sync, etc, but to no avail. When I contact FitBit I'm told it's out of warranty but we would be glad to give you a 25% discount for a new product. How could this product just stop working with absolutely no abuse or damage.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @jz121254. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your experience with your Fitbit Blaze and Customer Support. Fitbit trackers are made to last and we do not expect manufacturing issues to affect our devices, however, due to some factors that are beyond human control, materials that these trackers are made of also reach its limit. I am sure Customer Support tried to help you in the best possible manner, each case is reviewed individually and the troubleshooting and a solution that's being provided is based on the Fitbit Warranty. I totally understand how you are feeling and appreciate your feedback. We're constantly working on improving our devices and user experiences and hope to keep you in the Fitbit family.
If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
