Blaze caller ID says unknown and stopping notifications

I'm doing two questions. I have a blaze and my caller ID always says unkown. Should it not have a contact name? I miss calls because I usually don't answer unknown. If it doesn't give names are they going to fix this in an update?

I first wanted my ESPN notifications on my blaze, but I get to many so I turned it off. The problem is every night when I turn my phone off and then on in the morning it automatically checks the ESPN notifications and they come back on. How can I keep them from coming on for good without deleting ESPN app from my phone. I have already deleted the app and reinstalled it thinking that would fix it and it didn't  Thanks

The caller's name will only show if it is in your contact list on the phone.

You can try clearing the cache in the app. iOS, Android or Windows?

They are all in my contacts on the phone, I'm using an android phone. It's a Motorola Droid. I will try clearing those thank you
