One of my favorite features on my Fitbit Flex and Charge HR was the ability to silently wake me up in the AM and not disturb my wife. I'm reading that the Blaze's vibration motor is far weaker than the others, which is going to be an issue if it doesn't wake me up.
Anyone had an issue with the "buzz" not being strong enough to wake in the AM? If this looks like a problem, I'll just send it back to Amazon and look at other options. Thanks!

This topic seems to vary according to individual's perceptions of it. I myself do not have any problem with it - I feel it quite a bit. Others, not so. Perhaps wait until you have yours, then try it out and see for yourself.

I mentioned in another post -- my Blaze didn't wake me up this morning. I had been using a Charge HR previously, that always woke me up. I'm going to wait a little bit to see if Fitbit releases an update to make the vibration more prominent. Hoping they do before the return window closes.

I do feel that the vibration pattern on the Blaze is weaker than the Charge, but so far I do not feel that it is too weak to wake me up in the morning. I use it as my only alarm in the morning and it woke me up this morning.
This morning was my first morning using it, so time will tell.

I also mentioned my concerns in a seperate post but in my experience - the silent alarm on the Blaze is far too weak to be effective - unlike its predecessor the Charge HR. If you plan to rely on the silent alarm to wake you up in the AM - you will be disappointed. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.......

Best to try it out for yourself. As you will see in the other threads about this issue, many of us find the alarms sufficiently strong to wake us up.

I must agree that the silent alarm on the Fitbit Blaze is very weak. I would consider myself a light sleeper and had no problem with the Charge HR but the strenth of the vibration on the silent alarm on the Blaze is insufficient to wake me.

This was the first morning it woke me up. Albeit, I went to bed earlier than usual. So I'm 1 for 6 now. Maybe I'll get used to it? But the vibration feature is a bit of a letdown, as the Ultra, One, Flex, Force, Charge HR, Surge never failed to wake me.

I've used the Blaze for 4 nights now. The first 3 the buzz woke me up. I think. It could have been the dog. Or the cat. Anyway. This morning it did not wake me up. Nor did the dog. Or the cat. Luckily, I was able to still be on time to work. I'm hoping that this isn't the norm - maybe FitBit will come out with some sort of "fix"
