Blaze connected GPS stops logginf route after taking picture (iPhone6)

I have had my blaze since money and it has been working fine and I have used connected GPS to log some routes with very good results. Today during my walk I decided to take a picture. At this point it appears the track stopped being recorded which i didn't realise until I synced and reviewed on the app. Strangely the distance still seems ok jus the route map stops at the exact point i took the photo. Any ideas?

Hi @Timeflies1980 is nice to have you here. Welcome to the Blaze Team! Smiley LOL Let me tell you that is a great question! I love to run with my Blaze, however, I realized that every time I was under some roof or inside of building the GPS connection get lost and the map stopped working, and also, an other thing if I log out or closed the app, that same thing happened. My recommendation is to walk outdoors and run the Fitbit app on the background.

Let me know how it goes and let me know if you have any other questions, I really hope this information helps you.

I'll be around! Smiley Wink

I had the similar problem yesterday. Stopped logging the route part way through my walk and today would not sync with my iphone to log the route. It did, however, track all the information including the elrvation climbed.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @mikewoodhead! It's great to have you here. I would like to know if you where able to sync your tracker? If you are having issues syncing your tracker you can troubleshoot as instructed by @FerdinandFitbit on this post.  After syncing let me know if the map shows on your account.

Let me know if this helps! 🙂

Hi Angela.  I removed the Blaze from the Fitbit App and then reloaded it as a new device.  It is recording my walks correctly now.  The walk when the Blaze ceased to sync only recorded about half of my walk and would not sync again after that.  The reloading cured the problem.

Thanks Mike
