Blaze display update frequency

So I really like the blaze, but have one bug bear that I thought I would write here to see if anyone else has the same issue.
I often use the blaze for gym work but when I am tracking an activity the blaze screen will only update the statistics every minute so it's not a "true" reflection of the workout and if you end a workout before the screen has updated you can potentially miss out on a minutes worth of steps, calories etc. Has anyone else noticed this?

Also the floors climbed seems very temperamental, doing the same workout (elliptical for 1 hour) will some days give me no floors but others will give me 10+, why would it be so inconsistent?

@holey5 I'm not sure how much a help ill be, but I'll try.

When it comes to floor count this is determined by air pressure, and many have noticed wind from a fan or vent may also give floors. Your in inconsistant  floors are probably caused by blowers and tha air conditioning.

As for the recording of the exercise I know that in the event record. It is displayed in 1 minute increments, normally it is 15. The heart rate is shown in 1 second increments slurring the event.

As for the tracker I never really watched more than the steps, which do increment in real time.

Now if your using the auto detect function then no there may not be the fine detail, you will want to manually start it from the blaze.

Hi Rich, thanks for your reply, the air vents totally make sense as to why the floors are so different, so me using different machine positions explains it! Thank you!

As for the other display issue, I am using the manual track exercise buttons and I took note tonight as what was updating and you are right the steps and heart rate are per second updates and in fact the only one that was every minute is the calories, no idea why this is different to the rest though?
