Blaze distance information inaccurate

I’ve tried all the related posts and yes there are times where it does not connect to GPS when starting my walk but my old Fitbit Surge use to start my exercise and connect automatically once available. Does Blaze not do that? Also can I use exercise without GPS on phone when walking. I’ve been doing 3-4 miles in 48mins to an hour 16-17 min miles and last week or so has me at like 2-2.3 miles and 20 Plus min miles.

It's great to welcome you @jammerpd.

Regarding your inquiry, no, you need to have your phone with you at the moment of exercising since the Blaze doesn't have built in GPS like the Surge. For more information about this, take a look at the help article Does my Fitbit device have GPS?.

Now if you are having issues with the GPS connected feature, follow the steps in the help article Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?. I also suggest checking this post to make your tracker more accurate.

Let me know the outcome. Man Happy
