Blaze doesn't calculate steps and mileage right

I've had my Blaze for years now and for some reason it doesn't calculate the right amount of steps or mileage when on the elliptical. My elliptical says I go 7 miles and my Fitbit says I've gone 2.3. What am I doing wrong?

Hello @amyl5711! 

 

Thanks for bringing this up.

 

It could be related to your arm movement during he elliptical sessions. Are you using a different elliptical than usual or maybe moving your arms less than usual? That could lead to your Fitbit not being able to sense your movements appropriately to recognize the activity. 

 

I'll be moving your thread to the Blaze board as I think it is better suited for it.
