Blaze estimated 9,000 cal / not tracking calories

As the title says, I checked how much I was going to be able to eat today and the dashboard stated I could eat 9,000 calories based on the daily estimation burn. While I would love for this to be true, I know that it is not.

I've been sitting at my desk since 930am and the fitbit has been off my hand, on my desk, with the sensor facing a wall.

Later this evening, I went on a 20 minute run at an 8 min/mile pace and it tracked 0 calories. I stopped the exercise and started a weight regiment, again, 0 calories.

I've performed the suggested actions of:

resetting the device by hold the left button and bottom right button

cycling power to the device

Turning the heart rate monitoring from off/waiting a few seconds/and turning it back on

None of these have seemed to rectify the issue. Im afraid that I have a bricked device after just 2 months of use which is rather unacceptable. Any ideas?

It might be worth checking your profile settings for age, height, weight etc as if one of these has accidentally changed it could have this effect: https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

SteveH thanks for the reply. Checked my profile and it still has the same data as I had input before.
