Blaze - fitstar workouts calorie count

I've been doing some Fitstar workouts and they are showing up on my fitbit dashboard as fitstar personal training with a calorie count of e.g. 206. Is this the estimated calorie count from fitstar and not the actual calorie count from my Blaze? Should I be pressing the "Workout" Exercise button on my Blaze when I'm starting the workout  too to get the actual calories used?

Getting a bit confused - as I'd like to know actual calories used not what fitstarthink it should be.

Thanks!

I believe it is based on your activity level an heart rate. If your using fitstar than that is the way to trac.. Your not going to be able to start the manually tracking with fitstar prompting you.

Welcome to the Community @Claire_ed! As @Rich_Laue mentioned the Blaze will take into consideration your heart rate to determine your caloric burn during the activity. Also I tested it and you can not access the workout screen if you do one of the FitStar exercises on your Blaze.

Hope this helps! 🙂
