Blaze floors amount inaccurate

My Blaze has counted 18 flights of stairs when I've probably only gone up 4 max. Is it true that Fitbit have stopped supporting the Blaze?

It's great to see you here @Dave1964.

Your device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors.

Now about your inquiry, we're always working to streamline our offerings as we introduce new products. Although it has been a very popular product for us, we’ve decided to discontinue selling Blaze on fitbit.com

You can learn more about the rest of the Fitbit family of products including our newest product, Fitbit Versa here. Note that we’ll continue to support Blaze from a software standpoint, along with any questions you might have during your use of the product. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit devices you love and help you reach your goals.

Let me know the outcome. Robot Happy
