My Fitbit Blaze will not detect heart rate at all and it keeps getting stuck on the clock face. I can swipe up and down and look at notifications and music controls but when I try to swipe sideways to look at other screens like settings it stays on the clock face. I’ve restarted it several times(left and bottom right buttons) and I can briefly access the other screens but then it freezes again.

Thank you for the information about what you've been experiencing with the Blaze not detecting you heart rate and the screen not responding.
Before considering other options, please try performing a restart, this should be of help with the display and the heart rate difficulties you mentioned.
Also, regarding the heart rate feature, please try to to follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy o your readings: How to I improve the accuracy of my heart rate rate reading?
