Just this past week my fitbit blaze has stopped recording my heart rate and calories. Nothing has changed in my settings, I have tried re setting but zilch heart rate.

Thank you for this information about the Blaze not recording your heart rate and confirming that you already tried the restart procedure.
If you haven't done so already, make sure to try following these steps to wear the device in the most convenient position and improve the accuracy of your heart rate readings, and the restart procedure once more, in case you're still not getting any calorie information.
I was also informed that you already have a case created with the customer support team or that you already got in touch with them. I hope everything goes well.

Yes thankyou, I managed to chat with someone regarding my problems and it came to ahead that a replacement will be sent out to me. A very helpful support network on fitbit.
