Hi there guys @The_Lion @jean83, good to see you in the Community! 🙂

The daylight savings change should take place until November 6 so it's strange that it happened a week earlier for you. I would recommend checking your Time Zone settings on your Account section on your App and make sure that your  time zone is correct. Now, even if it is correct, try to change it to a different one, save the changes if you have the option to, sync your tracker and after you see the time changing on your Blaze, go back to the Time Zone section on your app and now, choose your correct time zone again. Save the changes, sync your tracker and the time should be showing right again.

As @The_Lion mentions, for the first night, some discrepancies in the sleep duration could be detected but everything should be working fine from that moment.

Hope this helps and let us know if you still need more help!

Where do you live and which time zone do you have in the app? In Germany we changed from DST to normal time yesterday morning. That worked fine. Only the app had problems with my sleep duration.

YES! Mine did that too! I hope they fix it or the timing will be off an hour for a whole week.

@MargieLowcarb is your location set for the nearest city that uses the same DAY schedule?

Best Answer

I looked at my settings and it had my time zone as some country that I'm not familiar with.  I believe when I did the last firmware update, it must have changed my time zone.  I know I had my time zone set as CST and I didn't have an issue when daylight savings time changed back in March/April.  Anyway, it has updated to the correct time.

@jean83 the country/city info is what tells the tracker when to switch in/out of DST.

It is probably that the unknown country switched this past weekend.

Glad you won't be arriving early to your next apointment.

Thank you so much, I checked my profile online here and I saw that somehow my time zone got changed from US Central Time Zone to some foreign country. It happened last night after 12 midnight because I was still awake and all of a sudden, my Blaze stopped counting steps, didn't go to the right time and just seemed like it stopped. It did track my sleep during the night, but it was an hour behind! All day today it was an hour behind. So, I thought it somehow switched to reflect the end of DST a week early.

My app on my phone had the right time and so did my Dashboard here, so it was confusing to me. I don't know why the app and the Dashboard could have the right time and the Blaze be an hour off. I don't know how my time zone could be changed without me changing it either.

Anyway, it's all fixed now. I updated my time zone preference, resynced with my Blaze and all is well.

Thank you so much!

Margie

Yay! Im happy to hear that it's all working fine now @MargieLowcarb @jean83!

Not sure why it would have changed to a different country but the good thing is that it's all in place.

Anything else you may need, let us know! 🙂

Spoiler
Regarding changeover to Standard Time.  My Exercise showed the correct time started & ended and duration.  However, the calories burned are off by an hour as are other stats.  Also, I used to have my sleep period set as between 11pm and 6am.  Now it shows 10pm and 5am and it has been impossible to change it.  This pretty much sucks.  WHY????

As of yesterday (the day Daylight Savings Time was dropped), the online Fitbit app showed all my stats in their correct 15-minutes slots, but NOT on my iPhone fitbit app.

As of this morning, my iPhone adjusted into Monday by leaving everything from 11-midnight blank.  I'm now back on course, but most of the iPhone stats for Nov. 6 remain incorrectly placed one hour earlier than when actually performed.

That will be a bummer to any and all people who ran the NYCity Marathon (I did not) and who wore Blazes.  Fitbit needs to work on the smartphone app!!!

Hey there @ldolin @DibaSr, good to see you in the Community! 🙂

@ldolin, I'm glad to hear that it's all working properly now! I would like to add that sometimes for the app to update right away, you just need to force quit the app and open it again and everything will show updated.

@DibaSr, are you still having problems with this?

I had to fight with my sleep notification to get it to work right. Really didn't make any sense.

My Fitbit Charge HR changed to standard time last night, over a week early.  After I got out of bed this morning, it changed back to daylight savings time on its own.

This is the Blaze forum @KSCubsFan do you have a Charge HE or a Charge 2?

It sounds as if your tracker did something it was not suppose to do and the sync process fixed it.
