Blaze heart rate absurdly inaccurate?

I've had my blaze for almost a year, and the last couple days it has started to read my heart rate +20 bpm over normal.

I usually average in the 70-80 range when inactive, but now it's always reading me in the 95-115 range when inactive. 

I went to the doctor to get it double checked yesterday and they didn't see anything. When manually checked I'm in the 80's.

I'm starting to wondering if it's the blaze itself. Any insight would be appreciated.
