Blaze heart rate information inaccurate

While checking my resting heart rate on my Fitbit and/or on my Fitbit app my heart rate will literally constantly change within seconds. It’ll jump from 73 to 84 or 85 in a matter of 5 seconds and then back down to 73 or 74 just as quickly. This happens even while I’m sitting completely still. Is this normal or is my Fitbit defective?

If you are having issues with your heart rate information, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Also, in here are some other tips you can follow.
