Blaze heart rate lights not working

I got my Fitbit blaze yesterday and the heart rate lights aren't flashing and if is not measuring my heart rate. 

 

I have tried turning the function on and off and also to auto. I have also restarted the Fitbit, following instructions in previous solutions but nothing works.

Hello @Beebop11, welcome to the forums, it's good to see you around for the first time. 

 

I'm sorry to see that you've been having trouble with the heart rate sensors in the back of the device, and thank you for confirming that you already tried to restart the Blaze. I've gone ahead and sent your information to the customer support team for further assistance, so you should be getting a reply soon.

I had the same situation too. my Fitbit doesn't even restart, tried to drain the battery and recharge it. but it still doesn't work. Also, the wake option doesn't function anymore. Tried resetting, restarting, turning the heart rate on and off, nothing worked.
