Blaze heart rate not showing

I got my Blaze in February 2018, so not even a year of use and the heart rate is no longer working. The green lights, both of them are working just no heart rate being displayed on blaze or in app. 

I have tried to clean with damp cloth, restart Blaze, turn off them back on, remove Blaze from app then reinstall, removed Fitbit app from phone then reinstalled. Nothing is working. Before the heart rate stopped working I noticed the battery was also draining with one day use. I don’t mind having to charge every day but I need my heart rate to work.

Heart rate just started working again about 1.5 hr after I posted this. I guess Fitbit fixed it on there end because I did nothing new.

I did have it connected to MapMyRun, which is one of the reasons I got a Fitbit (it’s listed as a compatible app). Even after I disconnected it, and charged it back up again, it’s still not tracking HR.

For the last 30 minuets my heart rate monitor has been going in and out of working. It worked for about 6 hrs now it’s glitching in and out again. It was fun while it lasted. Maybe they are trying to patch a software issue..... I hope they fix this issue because I have loved all 4 of my previous Fitbits but this has me thinking a change may be needed. An active wear item should last longer than 7 months.

Thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourselves. I am glad to see here that for some of you this issue has been resolved. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to post it.
