My Blaze has been working wonderfully until two days ago. It quit tracking hourly activity, sleep and heart rate. I searched all the help topics and try many suggestions, but nothing has helped. However, I did discover that everything works properly only if I have the heart rate setting placed at "on" instead of auto. BUT that completely drains my battery in two hours. I can't live with that. It worked fine on auto before...Please help,I need a solution!! Thank you!

Hi there @bevobabe. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze not working as it should 😕 Thanks a lot for looking for troubleshooting tips!
I can recommend making sure that you're restarting your tracker by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. If after doing this, it seems not to work, you can try to set up your tracker as a new device.
For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and you should be able to have your heart rate set to Auto and it should work well.
Let me know if you need more help with this!

This problem has been plaguing several Blaze users since firmware 402.
Unfortunately, it seems Fitbit is not putting much efforts trying to resolve this issue.
The "Auto" mode, since firmware 402, makes my Blaze useless to track activities and transformed it into a watch and pedometer. Not much more.

I'm having the same issue with my Blaze. Heart rate and sleep monitor quit months ago and none of the solutions work. Now my battery life is 24 hours or less after an overnight charge. Disappointing! Still keeps time and counts steps though.

Did anyone found a solution for this? I have to also keep my heart rate monitor set to on for it to work which drains the battery quick, not good.
