Blaze heart rate stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Blaze heart rate is no longer working. I have checked all settings on my phone and the watch and all the settings are correct. I have rebooted the watch (left & lower right button), reinstalled the watch on my phone, the green lights are flashing and still nothing.

The watch tracks my steps, floors etc. but not heart rate. The firmware is up to date.

Please advise.

Hi there @maryfeldman1. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry that your heart rate is not showing up correctly. It's very strange that you see the lights flashing but that you don't see any piece of information. Is there a chance you can share a screenshot of how the heart rate looks for the last days? Also, when did this start happening?

Since you've already tried to restart and to set up the tracker as a new device, there's not much else that can be done, so I'd like to take a look at your screenshots in order to see what options we have.

I'll be looking forward for your reply!

Thanks for getting back @maryfeldman1!

I was expecting a screenshot from your dashboard but the picture of your tracker helps a lot as well if not more.

I've gone ahead and escalated your case to the Support Team for them to help you out with this. They will be happy to get you back on track. Just be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for more instructions!

Hope to see you back on track soon and anything else you may need, I'm here to help! 🙂

I just restarted mine and it is working again. Just hold down the left button and the bottom right button for about 12 seconds. The Fitbit logo will appear and it will restart. That's All I needed to do to fix it- hope this helps!!

I'm having a similar issue, Battery was 75% before bed last night, today the blaze was dead, alarm didn't go off so overslept, when I switched the blaze on it had 3:40 as the time before syncing, now the HR is not being read and has not been read, since (according the dash board) my heart rate was recorded twice briefly before the watch switched off at 3:40 about 1 and 2 am, I have tried resetting a number of times, nothing.

Work with the customer support to see if they will replace the watch. Make sure you have tried all of the suggestions on how to reset it. Also take a picture of your dashboard and include it when you send a message to customer support.

Thank you. Have contacted them and sent images. Just charged to 100% and within 20 mins back down to 75%. Still no HR. Also sent copy of receipt. 8 months old. You can see from the pic below battery in yellow after a full charge  IMG_0770.PNG

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine. Thanks for the screenshots provided! Woman Happy

Regarding the inconvenience you are experiencing with your trackers, I don't know if you have tried this already but you can restart your trackers. Also, I recommend taking a look at this post where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Here, our friend @FerdinandFitbit is providing some instructions to correctly place your Blaze in order to have a better reading.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

I have exactly the same issue; heart rate is not working. At the same time sleep monitoring stopped as well. I supposed these are connected. I tried reset; de-link; delete and re-install app and none of these helped. I also noticed that since this issue occurred, the battery is draining quickly as well.

Doesnt mattet what I try, reset, drain battery, delink device, reinstall app. Nothing work. Heart rate is not syncing. Very frustrating. Not even picking up excercises accurately because of this.

Thanks for troubleshooting these issues by yourselves. I would like to know which troubleshoot have you tried so far? Have you followed the steps provided in my previous post regarding the heart rate? If you haven't, I recommend taking a look at it and follow the instructions there.

Regarding the battery not lasting, here you will be also to find some other steps to follow.

Hi,I have the same issue with my FB502...it all perfect ‘till the HR crashed. I tried everything described here, nothing fixed my heart rate sensor. The lights on the back just stopped working at some point and that was it. Really disappointed, I received it as a gift
