Blaze in jean pocket

First, I know the Blaze is meant to be worn on the wrist, but with my job and the constant arm movement, I get a lot of false steps and I tested the accuracy with it in my jean pocket and it was spot on.  My question is, is there a possibility of damaging the heart rate monitor on the back with it being in my pocket?  I have a screen protector, so not concerned about the display.  Thanks.

Hi, @curt81 , first, you probably will want to turn the HR off to save battery if it is in your pocket.

If it is in your pocket the only way it could really do any harm is if you so badly scratched the LED screen that it interfered with the light shining through -- I did see a picture of such a badly scratched Fitbit from someone who threw it in her handbag with a bunch of keys!  Just to be sure it is protected you might want to wrap it in a soft cloth, like an eye glasses cleaning cloth, or even a tissue, but I can't see any other harm that could come to it.

Thank you for the response.  I misplaced my Fitbit One, but still have the pouch you place it in, so I figure I'll use that for the Blaze.
