Blaze is about 250 meters off every run

Every time I Run my Blaze is off by 250 metres. I look at the map and it cuts it off from where I’ve actually ran showing I run through houses!! How can I correct this?

Hi @NikkiB1984 let me first give you a warm welcome to our Community! I'm happy to assist you with your concern.

 

It's definitely not expected that your Blaze shows that you're running through houses... Therefore, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your device and let me know how it goes. Also, can you please let me know how many times you experienced this weird behavior?

 

Please note that your Fitbit require a direct path to the satellites that are constantly in orbit around the Earth. If this signal is blocked (either because you're underground, near many tall buildings, or as a result of atmospheric effects) GPS won't work as expected. While GPS gives you a more accurate measure of distance than step counting alone, the actual accuracy depends on both your environment and the weather. That said, if the GPS signal is lost, your phone or Fitbit device continually searches for a GPS signal as long as an exercise is in progress.
