Blaze is not getting notifications

I had recently got a blaze and it was my step mom she got the iwatch. After having for a day thr notifications are not coming though when i have the notifications on call, text, email, and some third party apps but non of them are wanting to show up on my blaze.

Does your Blaze show up as a connected device in your phone's bluetooth settings? Did it ever work? Did you try rebooting the phone? Sometimes my Blaze shows as connected, but it is really not and I have to reboot the phone. Started happening with the last Android update.
