Blaze is not receiving notifications from Samsung Galaxy S8

I just got a new Galaxy S8 after upgrading from my S7. I received notifications fine on my S7 but after switching to the S8 I have not received a single notification. I completed all the troubleshooting steps offered on the fit bit website and still nothing.

I have been receiving notifications on my Galaxy S8, until yesterday when I took the latest FitiBit app update. I have tried everything in the troubleshooting guide (some twice), but no luck.

According to this, Blaze Notifications Information Post: "(5) To verify that set up was successful, look at the list of Bluetooth-connected devices on your mobile device. Your tracker name should appear."

This is not showing up on my phone. I'm wondering if it is related to my Blaze not receiving notifications.

Interestingly, when I open my Bluetooth settings, it says that' it's pairing my Blaze sometimes, when I have definitely not selected it.

My Blaze is paired and the notification widget says the notifications are running. I'm still not getting anything on my wrist

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourselves, I would like to know if you keep having issues with your Blaze notifications? If you do, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post and follow the instructions provided there.
