Blaze is seriously overcounting:(

Hi. I got the blaze for my birthday a few days ago and I'm so disappointed. It's overcounting my steps by about 6000 a day. I have figured out what causes it. It counts multiple steps for an arm movement such as reaching for the remote whilst sat down on the sofa..... I have tried dominant non dominant etc. This is so disappointing as I really wanted this so that I could be able to count my steps:( I have read other comments on this so I know I'm not the only one and now wish my husband hadn't spent a lot of money on this as it seems no one has been able to fix this?? Fitbit people, please get in touch as I am thinking of returning this and buying something else as my body present:(

Hey @Anni1982. Good to see you in the Community and I'm sorry to hear that your tracker is not recording your activity accurately 😕

What I can recommend right now would be to set it up as a new device. For this, tap at the top left corner of your Fitbit app to go to the Devices section. Here choose the option that says "Set up a new device" and just follow the on-screen instructions until it's all set.

After that, try it out and see if it shows any improvement. Let me know how it goes!
