Blaze isn't showing all text notitfications

The Blaze does show calendar and calling notifications, but sometimes it won't show all of the text notifications. The bluetooth is on and I tried turning it off and then back on. The notifications are turned on. All-day sync is on also. Sometimes it will show when a text comes, but other times it won't. I have also made sure that the text isn't open, the phone is within 10 feet of the Blaze, and I've tried turning All-day sync off. Why isn't it syncing all of the messages to the Blaze? Can this be fixed?

It's a Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I know some people have gotten it to work with Note 5 and I do see that it's not compatible, but if some text messages are coming through, shouldn't they all?
