Blaze keeps going off unless connected to the charger

My Fitbit blaze is fully charged and will work for an hour or so but then turns off and will not respond until placed in the charger. Then it boots up and shows that it's charged and will work for another hour or so. I have tried all of the resetting and disconnecting/reconnecting and factory resets. Cannot get it to stop. Any ideas.
