Blaze measures walking distance higher than same running distance

I walked and then separately ran the same distance using connected GPS. The run measured it as 2.9 miles whilst the walk measured it as 3.22 miles. This is a regular feature. I have tried setting the stride length manually for walking and running and also used the automatic function but this difference seems to prevail. Please can anyone explain why this happens?

Hi,

Running distance is the accurate measurement.
