Recently, I have been having trouble connecting to the GPS on my phone with my Fitbit Blaze. This seems to finally have been fixed with a recent Android app release; however, the distance is now inaccurate. I have a normal route which previously was always listed as 1.8 miles which now only is only listed as about 1.4 miles. I measured the route with my car and it is 1.8 miles.

A warm welcome to the Community @huskervbfan.
Fitbit trackers calculate distance by multiplying your walking steps and walking stride length. Similarly, your running steps are multiplied by your running stride length. This will not necessarily match a pre-measured distance, nor will it show exactly what a GPS device will show.
You can enter your personal stride length to make the distance calculation more accurate. To measure your stride length, I recommend taking a look at the help article How do I measure and adjust stride length for my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provide there.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

It seems that something has changed from how it worked previously. I know that the distance has been short when I use Fitbit but do not connect to the GPS on my phone. However, previously, when I was connected to the GPS, the distance was much more accurate.
