I run every morning on a treadmill and my miles on my tracker are way off. I have an iPhone 8 with mobile track connected now the treadmill, my health app, and my mobile track are within 30 of each other. For example this morning I ran 6 miles, mobile track had 5.8 miles 12,452 steps, my health app 5.7 miles 12,457 steps, and my Blaze 3.91 miles 8,580 steps.
As soon as my Blaze synced it overrides what mobile sync. All of my software is current. It's off by miles not a couple of tenths. What's the point of using a device if its way off? I like wearing the device to track my heart rate, but it's really inaccurate. Any suggestions?

@Aiello1979 I need some idea of what your doing
Is the Blaze in your wrist while in the treadmill?
As for mobile track, it doesn't have a treadmill option and there is no way to turn off the gps which is useless when not physically moving.
Mobile track uses GPS to calculate distance, GPS doesn't work indoors and depends on the physical movement of the person.
When it comes to the virtual distance on a treadmill, the tracker has no way of measuring what the belt your running in has down.
Your best to put the Blaze into its treadmill mode, then calculate and set your stride. Fitbit will use your step count and stride to take an educated, calculated distsnce

Rich,
I will definitely try using treadmill mode, but it cannot be a complete coincidence that mobile track, my health app, and my treadmill are within a couple tenths and my Fitbit tracker is always off by a couple of miles.

Welcome to the Community @Aiello1979 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.
A common problem with walking or running on a treadmill is that steps can be missed if you are holding on to the treadmill rails because that stops the Blaze moving. As our friend recommended, you can use the "Treadmill" option directly from the tracker. Also, you can take a look at your stride length information to see if it is correct.
Let me know the outcome.

Mine is tracking way off too and I'm using the treadmill app. I just had foot surgery so I'm walking at 3.4 miles average and it's off by 3/4s mile. I don't hold the bars and I have a normal arm swing. It counts my steps property, but always way off on the miles.
I have tried resetting it as suggested, adjusted stride. Nothing picks up the miles. This is my third Fitbit and only one that has been inaccurate. I'm very disappointed...

Your tracker while walking on the treadmill can not measure distance.
The first thing that needs to be checked is what the tracker can track. Is the step count correct?
If so we need to adjust the stride. Since step times stride way ls distance.
Not knowing which way the 0.75 is off I can not help more.
