Blaze never turns on - screen stays black and blank

I have charged my new Blaze for 24 hours and the green lights are blinking in the back, but the display never comes on at all not even to show the battery charging event. I have attempted the 'restart' process and random pressing of buttons just to try for any reaction. I do not see it as a Bluetooth option to select either and have tried restarting my iPad Bluetooth multiple times at this point. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Did you go through the process to set the device up on the Fitbit App?

Ooooooh... iPAD? I don't believe that the Fitbit is compatible with the iPad. To set the device up, you need to download the Fitbit App on your device, and it takes you through a set up process. I don't think the app works on the iPad, although it does work on most phones. I have always wondered if the sync dongle that comes with most Charge HRs works with the Blaze.

Ok, scratch that... The app is available, but you can only do so much depending on which iPad you have. See a list of compatible devices here: https://www.fitbit.com/content/assets/onezip/images/devices/Fitbit_SupportedDevices_iOS.pdf

 

Also, this whole thing may have been a non-issue because you may already have the app. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
