Blaze no longer alerting me of phone calls

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

My Blaze is no longer alerting me when I am receiving an incoming call. I have completed the hard reset, turned off notifications, turned these back on and the Blaze is still not alerting me of incoming calls.

I also receive intermittent text notifications. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or know how I should resolve.

Thanks!

I'm having the exact same issue! I no longer get text or phone call notifications. I've done everything the troubleshooting sections say to do and none of it has helped.

Have you turned Bluetooth on and off again while resetting the Blaze? I have a Samsung S7 and periodically have the same problem with losing the connection between the phone and the device (I have no idea whether it's the phone or the Blaze). I might go several days and have to reset them both every morning and then inexplicably everything starts working continuously again, as it should.

I agree with restarting the blaze and the phone, sometimes a complete shut off is needed.
But first I'd check to make sure that the correct phone app is still set.
Also swipe down and make sure fitbit notifacations are still running.

I've tried all of that multiple times and to no avail.

What make and model of handset do you have?  There are known issues with some handsets that can cause syncing issues, so that will help diagnose the problem.

For example I have a Samsung S4, which has a problem where all applications subscribing to notifications (eg. the Fitbit app) have to re-subscribe whenever the phone is turned off and on.

Fitbit Blaze and Samsung S4. Previously Charge HR (wasn't as waterproof as I thought) and One (If you find it can you let me know)

@GraphixGirl which phone do you have?

A couple things that has worked when the normal things don't is to tell the phones Bluetooth to forget the tracker then force a sync reconnect, or set the tracker up as a replacement device.
