I just received my Blaze today and was very excited because my Charge HR was always very innaccurate with my steps unless I wore it on my hip. Which meant, that the Heart Rate monitor was completely useless to me. I had high hopes for the Blaze given the price, but seem to be having the exact same issue. I walked on a treadmill tonight for 1.5 miles. It only gave me credit for 1.1 and the steps were clearly way off. I also did the 100 step test, reset the device and tried again. Still off by over 30 steps. Very disappointed. Any suggestions out there?

For one thing your stride is different on a threadmill it will not be accurate.

I thought of that, so I did my 100 steps walking normally.

I have the exact same problem. Walking on a hard surface, my Blaze only counts about 70% of my steps. I tried with short, slow steps and fast, longer steps. No difference. Also tried with the band tighter and looser and further up the arm. Still no improvement. Very frustrating! My Samsung S6 was better, and the tracking was a free app, not a $200 watch!
