Hi @drsanjeev, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for sharing detailed information about your Blaze, and the steps that you've done. You did a great job! Since your device isn't fully charging, this should be the reason why the heart rate stopped working. While you've tried restarting the heart rate functions and using a different USB port, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Cleaning the gold contacts on your device and charging cable.
  2. Restart your Blaze by holding the left and bottom right buttons for 10 seconds. The Fitbit logo should be displayed.
  3. Plug the charging cable into a UL-certified USB wall charger.
  4. Charge it for around 2 hours, making sure the contacts between the device and charging cable are aligned.

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

The same thing just started to happen to me yesterday. The green backlight is constantly on and the batter will not hold a charge.

Well, this wasn't my problem. My issue was neither green light being
emitted nor charging.
