Blaze not charging

My new Blaze received today all set up and update and will not charge at all. Tried 3 different plugs and into pc and will not charge. No indication on screen or battery symbol. Reset twice any ideas not good first impressions

I had to open another account. I then put the device back in the frame. It began to download the file. Perhaps it needs to be in its frame in order to work. Take it out to charge and put it back to do anything with it.

Ive also noticed of my battery has been dead for a while, it might take an hour or two before the tracker shows any sign of life.

I just got my Blaze for my birthday and I am having the same problem everyone else is. It will not finish setting up because it is not charged, so I plugged it into my computer and my computer makes certain sounds when the USB port is being used, which it made that sound which I'm guessing it means that it is charging? I'm not sure because the screen is the same Fitbit.com/setup. Will the battery show at all or do I just leave in for a few hours?

I am having this problem as well. What did you do to fix it? I cannot set it up and upgrade it to the latest software because the battery is too low, yet it wont charge

It's not fixed. Tried everything on blog. Nothing works.

IF the battery is being teported as low, then place the Blaze into its charger and plug it into a powered up usp socket. Use the computer or a phone charger. If the Blaze vibrates when first pligging in, you know that it is charging. 

As has been said many times,  if the www.fitbit.com/setup is on the screen, there will not be any battery indicator showing. The vibration is all you will get.

Yes. My fitbit was brand new. I charged it over night, using the USB cradle
plugged in to a wall charger. It did charge over night, though there was no
indication that it waa charging. Then I was able to download the new
version of the software and pair it with my phone. All is well now.

will it still charge if its not set up? Because my phone wont let me set it up becase it needs to be charged.

It did charge, even though it was not set up, and needed an update. I left
it plugged in all night. I didn’t know it was charging because there wasn't
anything on the display. Good luck.

I'm trying to charge my blaze. I get the fitbit. com/ setup screen with the aqua dots; but, no charging symbol and then it goes black after a few seconds. What am I doing wrong? I have tried both of my chargers.

**ahem**ing bull**ahem** crap...i received mine today and its 2hours and nothing happens... still shows battery in the red

@lunar5577 nay we have a little mire history. What do you have the trackwr plugged into? A phone charger or computer?

When first plugging in do you feel a slight vibration?

I'm going through the exact problem with my Blaze. I brought my Fitbit Blaze in november 2015 at Bestbuy whe i was in Orlando. I've been trying to load my device for two days withou sucess.

To clarify:
Tried hard restart (hold left button and lower right button for 10 seconds)
Tried two charging cradles
Tried multiple USB wall outlets, laptop USB ports, USB plug adapters
Pins aligned in charging cradle
Device pressed in and clicked

 

Can you help me?

I have problem with charge too. What I do:

1. install apps in windows 10 laptop

2. put Blaze to charge with USB - can not sync because baterry low

3. wait cca 1h - on Blaze monitor was just setup notification

4. after cca 1h open app on laptop, go to dashboard and see that battery half charge

5. from dashoboard/settings go to start update (not from my mobile phone or bluetooth)

6. finished and now see clock and battery charge indicator

sry for my english, not native language 🙂
