Blaze not charging

My new Blaze received today all set up and update and will not charge at all. Tried 3 different plugs and into pc and will not charge. No indication on screen or battery symbol. Reset twice any ideas not good first impressions

yes I was connecting the charger to the PC connector - so first I used a cue tip and cleaned all the connectors, then I switched to another outlet ........seems better.  But the problem is the black box is not closing correctly or tight enough - be sure you see the battery begin charging - if not - may have to get a new charger???

My Blaze seems to be working ok now - if I have anymore problems I may have
to get another charger.....

My Blaze is about 6 months old. I tried to charge it today and it won’t charge.

How do you connect Blaze to the charger?

Thanks. I got it working. Charger was not closing tightly. Plus I connected to another outlet

Check to see if your charger is closing tightly and you should actually see
it begin to charge --- I also switched from my PC and plugged the charger
into a different outlet. Mine seems to be working ok now. Good luck.

Did you clean the points with a cue tip?  Sorry those tips did not work - try once more - be sure the "box' is closed tightly + changing outlets??

Check if charger under warranty? Cost for new one $19.98......?

@tasha1612 or through Amazon a third party charger can be picked up much cheaper. Best Buy and Target also sell them

When I got my Blaze it would not charge. Here are the steps that I took. I
also tried charging with computer and cleaning posts. Here is what works.
Sinc with Bluetooth then go to website. It will say that you need to
upgrade. Upgrade. (You will have enough juice to do this. Then you can
charge your blaze. It must be plugged directly into a socket.

I had an online chat with Fitbit.  I was told to hold the left button in and the lower right button. I got the battery outline with one red line. I was then instructed to sync my Blaze. It worked. I was told to let it charge for a few hours.

Hey everyone! Thank you so much to each of you that have shared the troubleshoot that you've performed as well for sharing what has worked for you, I'm sure this has helped many users. 

 

When you're experiencing charging issues, just restart it and make sure you're properly charging it. If you can change the power source that can help too.

This has happened to me -- twice -- exactly as you have described.  Immensely ANNOYING.  Have a new tracker coming but I am thinking of going in an entire new direction but I love the darn thing --- when it charges !!  What did you end up doing?  thx Mike

Now that I have learned that I must sync every day my Blaze is working fine.  In fact it is now set on my Apple phone to sync automatically - I just tap sync and it is done.  Charger working fine after switching to another connection.

I've just started to have the same problem. Unable to charge tracker fully. Once in cradle it shows that it's charging but it never fully charges and when removed (after several hours in the pod), the tracker still shows a low charge.
