I am finding when I charge my Blaze, it indicates on record it is at full charge for 2 days, at medium charge for the following 3rd to 5th days, then by the 5th to 6th day, it will give a red indication of low battery and I have to charge it

Hi Angela, I spoke to Customer Service and they are sending me a new
tracker. Since my band is fine and the charger seems to be working, they
are replacing that one part. Let's hope it works! Thanks for the help.

If they are asking you to return your old tracker, be sure to remove it from your frame to mail back. I made the mistake of returning it with the band & frame, and they replaced only the tracker, no band. When I asked if I could have my band back, I received ONLY a band & no frame which is useless to me.

Okay....so I seem to be having the same issues as the rest of the known universe with charging. I see the battery icon on the screen when placing it in the cradle for about 1 second, it disappears and is replaced with the fitbit logo and fitbit.com/setup. I do not see a battery icon in the upper left corner. Am I charging or not?

RobertF1967, after trying everything under the sun to fix my issue Fitbit customer service ended up sending me a replacement piece. I don't think you are charging at all. I suggest you call customer service to see if they can help

I know this is an old thread but to anyone reading who still has problems it could be as simple as cleaning the back of the device just give the back a quick wipe you wear it on your arm so it can get pretty gunky
Best Answer

@RobertF1967 has your Blaze been setup yet? Your problem sounds completely unrelated to what the thread is about.

If your Blaze has never been setup to your account, then yes it will display the setup message.. Now if it has been setup, showing your step count, but when placing it into its charger gives. Hee setup message, than there are bigger problems than we can help you with here and you will need, I contact fitbit... Http://contact.fitbit.com

No mine is working perfectly just pointing out something that I overlooked when mine wouldn't charge it's worth cleaning the contacts and the pins

Yes the device has been added. It then tells me I have to update the firmware. The update is almost completed when it says it failed and that I need to charge my tracker. Apparently my tracker is not charging. I purchased it this morning, exchanged it this afternoon and the new one did the same thing.

Place it in the charger, leave it in, use the phones charger, and try again.. It continues from where it left off, and doesn't have to start over.. It will work.

I was having the problem of my Blaze not charging, and the customer service rep I talked to, asked me to sync the device and that fixed the problem.

Thank you so much for your post.  I tried Fitbit, web and cound not get an answer to why I had a red bar within my Fitbit's charging icon.  When I changed the charging station for my Fitbit, it began to charge as it should with NO problems.  Fitbit's instruction to turn off and then on was terrible advice!  Need to get their personnel more familiar with what I believe could be a common issue.

After calling support and doing again (for the 5th time) what everyone in here has suggested, my fitbit has been updated and charged.

Welcome to the Forums @Vincejsmith@RobertF1967 and @3Skipper3! It's great to have you here. As @Rich_Laue mentioned if the Blaze is not set up to the account it will not display the battery icon. Also if your battery is not charging the advise from @Vincejsmith to clean the contacts is a great idea. You can also try changing USB port or use another USB certified wall charger. If your battery is not charging after this please contact our support team for assistance. @RobertF1967@curt81 and @Fitnessfan1 it's great to see you around!
