I am very disappointed with My Blaze. It is not compatible with my Galaxy 7. I was told" Regarding to your concern, we confirmed that the reason that you're having issues receiving your notifications is because the Samsung Galaxy S7 currently is not compatible with our Fitbit mobile app, so even though sometimes your tracker is able to sync, some features like notifications might not be available. Currently we don't have an estimated time to have it included on the devices compatible list, however, rest assured that we're already aware of this and our engineering team is working hard to include this model to the supported devices." I am very disappointed very disappointed over this entire situation! I will be returning my Blaze since they have no clue as to when they will have the situation fixed. Very very disappointed!!!!!! I have in the past purchased a Charge2, Charge , Alta, Flex and never have had issues!!
DISAPPOINTED

My boyfriend has an S7 and uses the Fitbit app without any issues. I'm not sure why Fitbit says it's not supported.

Welcome to the Forums @cwyche, @ABGirlAZ and @Robhuff46 it's great to see you around. Regarding to your question, Samsung Galaxy 7 is not a compatible phone yet, as our team mentioned, our engineers are hard working in testing the compatibility of several phones. I recommend keeping an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update. For some of you the app can work properly but some features won't work 100%. Keep in mind that you can always sync your Fitbit with a computer or a compatible device.
Catch you later.

I guess I'll just have to tell my neighbor and his wife both have S7's their experiance is not typical and they possibly can not be receiving the call, text and text alerts they have been receiving on their wrist. Of course any gps tracked routes that I see in their accounts also well I don't know.
He had no problems doing the 14 minute update through the S7 yesterday.

Bought a new Blaze today. Everything seems to work except notifications. When I click on Notifications, App crashes with an "unfortunately Fitbit has Stopped" error. Extremely frustrating as notifications are extremely important. I will search for a solution for another day or so and see if I can get in touch with Fitbit for a miracle. If not, this along with the Aria scale I purchased are going back to the store and being swapped for a Gear. 😞

Yeah the same thing is happening to me. I manually turned on all the permissions, the notification service in the security settings, set as a priority in the application manager, and the app still crashes on me... I was able to turn on the notifications from my note 3 and somehow the notifications magically work on my S7 edge every now and again but I'm still looking for a permanent solution, as I have to keep rebooting the blaze and the app on both phones before it mysteriously starts working again...
