Blaze not connecting to phone after update

My blaze won't connect to my iPhone 6s+ since the update. The Bluetooth thing says it's connected but it won't sync or get notifications. I tried deleting the blaze from the app and setting it up again but now it's stuck on the screen that says "we found your tracker" and "connecting to tracker" and will sit there for hours. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but that did nothing. I tried resetting the Fitbit but that also did nothing. Please help.

After about 2 weeks it just started working again. Idk why, I didn't do anything different, just kept trying the same thing over and over again.

There have been reports of this with the IPhone, killing the app and restarting, people find that the Blaze is set back up.

I have tried that multiple times. Didn't help

Same issue.  After update Blaze only sporadically connects w/Iphone.  The tempprary fix is to hard reset the Blaze (button hold) TWICE.  Does not work until the second reset.  Just tried removing device and setting up again.  We'll see if that helps.

Angela, I know this isn't the correct page but I found you here- nothing I do from the manual helps me to pair my new Blaze to my iPhone 6. Thoughts?

After updating the latest app, iPhone 6, the blaze is connected by Bluetooth and will control music, however, no activity will connect. I reloaded twice and rebooted the blaze, help!

@Nucbee welcome, welcome! I'll be happy to help here. Smiley Happy So you mean to say that your Blaze isn't syncing to your iOS device? Please note that the latest iOS release is affecting syncing on select Blaze trackers. On your mobile device go to Settings > About. If the Version is 10.1.1 or below, you're not affected by this issue and it's likely your syncing difficulty is caused by a missing requirement or other common issue. Do clarify that info for me. If the version is 10.2 or 10.2.1, update your Blaze to the latest firmware version (8.301.8) to resolve the issue. Hope this helps, keep me posted!

@dg1253 a couple questions I do have.

Has your Blaze been setup? If not it will need to be.

If so have you checked http://www.fitbit.com for your steps?

If they don't show up there steps to try, with a sync inbetween.

- turn off/on the phones Bluetooth

- remove the tracker from the phones Bluetooth settings, not the app

- restart the phone

-restart the Tracker

What type of phone do you have?

I experienced the same problem. I resolved it by closing all the apps on my iPhone and turning it off then turning it on again. The Blaze connected with no problem and quickly synched all my activities.

Hi,

I don't know if it's related to the update but my fitbit blaze only connects to my Iphone6 if I reboot the watch. It literally doesn't connect any other way. I have to reboot the watch to receive any data. It's like the watch disconnects the Bluetooth. Can someone help?

Kind regards,
