Blaze not connecting to phone's Bluetooth

I am very frustrated. I love this watch as it tracks my activity and fitness beautifully - however I am not able to get my bluetooth connected properly, thus I am not receiving any notifications. I've had this watch over 2 years and I hope that I do not have to replace it. I have tried using this forum and restarted it, restarted my iPhone and nothing is working. I will sometimes get the bluetooth to connect and then it says Bluetooth Classic and gives me the option to 'pair' or 'off'. I scroll to 'pair' but then it doesn't do anything, even though the watch is showing up on my iPhone saying it is connected.

Does anyone else have any issues with their Blaze? I know it was working at one time because I used to get the notifications properly. 

I even checked to make sure I had the latest version and I do: 17.8.402.1

Any ideas would be helpful. I really do not want to spend money on another smart watch if this is fixable.

Hi there @jdigg, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the late response. I totally understand how you feel. I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting your Blaze prior to contacting us. 

Besides the steps you've tried, please try the steps below:

1. Remove the Blaze from the Bluetooth settings or any other phone you tried to set it up with.
3. Restart your Blaze.
4. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
5. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
6. Setup your Blaze.
