Blaze not holding a charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Im having to charge my Blaze two to three times a day now. This just recently started. I've had this Blaze for over a year. I haven't changed any settings, it typically last me at least 5 days without charging. I double checked the settings, again, nothing has changed except the battery life. I've turned it off and on to see if that changes anything and it's still draining the battery quickly. Anyone else experiencing the same? Is there a fix? What do I do?? Please help.

Thank you.

I'm no longer able to use my Fitbit. It's not even charging at all now. What do I do now?

I have the issue. My Blaze was Xmas gift 2 xmas' ago. Have not changed any settings in at least 8 months. Always kept charge for 5 days. Past month or so not staying charged as long. This past week I'm charging every other day. Did you solve your issue? Thanks

Seems like the battery is officially dead to me, you can either send the Fitbit back if you have a warranty or pay a private tech fixer to put in a new battery for you or you could watch a YouTube video and do it yourself

Hi, @Tremont71, all rechargeable batteries will deteriorate over time.  This will happen much more rapidly if the battery is often allowed to discharge completely.

You can slow down the deterioration by, as much as possible, keeping the battery from getting super low.  I would advise, if possible, finding a time every day -- perhaps when you are in the shower -- to keep the battery topped up.  If your battery has significantly deteriorated 15 or 20 minutes a day may not be quite enough, so perhaps find an hour when you are reading or watching TV just to make sure it doesn't get too low (ideally not below 30%).

Thanks for the idea. I'll give it a try. I usually don't let it run until it's dead, I have a weird routine with it..lol
