Hello! I made it a point when I first got my Blaze in January to turn off all of the all day syncs to have a longer battery life. A normal charge would last about 4 days.
About 1 week ago, when the issues with the step and heart rate display came up on my Fitbit app on My Samsung Galaxy, I noticed that I have to manually pair my Blaze and phone's Bluetooth every time I sync. For this last week the life of my battery has declined to the point where I have to now charge my battery daily.
What I've done/do
-My settings are set for the highest possible battery life.
-I charge my Blaze through my computer
-I have restarted the Blaze twice in the last week.

It's great to welcome you @Poxington.
Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If your Blaze isn't holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provide there. About the syncing, this issue might be there for the battery problem you are experiencing, the tracker isn't able to sync since it doesn't have enough battery, but you can always try the steps in the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.
