I'm currently in the same boat. I've had mine since the release with zero battery problems. Then, all of a sudden three days ago, I wake up to a dead blaze that will not hold a charge for more then an hour and half. Now, it will no longer fully charge. Contacted customer support, and I'm now in the midst of what seems to me to be and incredibly slow process to prove that there is something wrong with my blaze, not that I am all of a sudden am unaware of how to charge it. My advice is to contact customer service now, because it has been very far from a quick solution. Still working on it and jumping through hoops to try to prove to them that this isn't a matter of user error. So, here I sit day three no Fitbit awaiting my next response from customer service.

I did turn off auto synch which helped so check and see if that makes a difference. But, what has fixed my battery issue was the update the just sent out yesterday (7/20). So, check and see if you need to update.

The other thing to turn off is any unwanted auto detected exercises.. People have reported this having a.big affect on the battery.

Do this by tapping Track Your Exercise then tap the gear on the top.

I Charge my blaze fully and it is only lasting for a couple hrs. Very frustrating. Was purchased in May, so not very old. What can I do?

@TaraMcD I would contact fitbit, and have then look at the back end of your tracker.

I'M  having the same problems about holding the charge.  My Blaze is only a couple of months old.  It used to hold a charge for about 4 or 5 days with no problems.  I never changed any settings and now it only lasts a day or a day and a half.  Very discouraging.  I expected more from this considering the price of the unit.

Any ideas?

I meant to get back to you sooner to thank you, as soon as I read your post I got on the phone and requested a new device.  It took a while on the phone with fitbit and then a week and a half later I finally got my new blaze.  Still a pretty frustrating experience!

I have my Blaze for close to 5 months now.  it was working really good, no pornblems and battery lastign for at least two days, with lots of activity!

suddenly, last week, the battery just stop lasting more than 2-3 hours.  when i charge it, it really show a full charge really fast, in less than an hour probably. but then in 2 hours battery is 0%.

i followed all instructions in the messages below (that i agree there is no reason to have to just not use all features because of battery) but nothning changed.

Now, the Blaze is useless in my desk, and i think i will be looking for another alternative, because this one is really expensive for a 5 months duration.

Mine use to hold a charge for almost five days using all functions. Now I cannot get it to keep a charge for a couple of hours.

My experience with the same problem on my blaze was very poor. Fitbit customer service is we’re crap.

My blaze  is 25 months old

and their attitude was to give me a discount off a new device as their warranty is only 24 months

im going to contact The consumer trading standards in the uk as I don’t believe it is fit for purpose.
