Blaze not picking up mileage in cycling

Dear Fitbit,

I have a Blaze paired with iOS. Up until a couple weeks ago, all my cycling activity would record properly. I initiate my activity by selecting the exercise on the watch. Lately (for cycling only) Blaze will log everything except mileage and speed for bike rides. Location services is set to Always, Bike is available as an exercise shortcut and under account (in the app) Outdoor bike is set to auto-recognize (though I've never seen the results of this work). It should be noted that walking, hiking and running sporadically record tracking (path) information. Sometimes I get path data, sometimes I don't.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

You write, "Dear Fitbit". Keep in mind this is a user forum. If you want direct help from Fitbit, I'd try the chat support option. But as far as biking, I'm on android and it seemed to me right after the last app update 5 days or so ago, biking mode with connected GPS was useless. Showed connected yet 0 mileage. I went through the hoops with chat support,. unpair Blaze from bluetooth. Remove Blaze from account in the app, reboot phone and add Blaze back.. Last thing left try try was removing and reinstalling the app. That seemed to have did it. Have done 4 or 5 rides since reinstalling the app, and all were perfect except 1. One ride Bluetooth connection dropped for a bit and then reconnected.
