Blaze not receiving text messages

I am not getting any text msgs but calls, messenger and Facebook still work. I have tried all the suggestions. Went to live chat and it wouldn't work same with trying to call so I'm hoping someone here can help me

I am having the same issue. I've tried to reinstall the fitbit app, have restarted my phone and watch. I have also re set up which notification I want to get sent to fitbit.........Nothing worked. I contacted fit bit for help and that was a waste of time. They sent me a link to an article of useless suggestions.

You are not alone. This seems to be a big issue that is hitting a lot of people right now. I started a thread with the same thing where I can't get text messages but everything else comes in. However, emails only list the sender and then a "..." below that.

Finally got thru calling and after 30 min on hold I was told they are having issues and to wait 5 days

My Fitbit Blaze is doing the same thing.  All notifications work except I cannot receive text messages.  It started a few days ago.  I have done all the suggestions, but nothing works.  There must have been some sort of upgrade that caused this issue. I  hope Fitbit gets this issue fixed.  Looks like Blaze is now considered an older model.  I hope this does not prevent this issues from getting resolved.  I have an Android LG g6 phone,. Just curious what phones other people have with this issue.

I found in another thread on here where someone mentioned about backing up to version 2.9 of the Fitbit app. I decided to try that because I have had enough of waiting on Fitbit to fix this. As soon as I installed the older 2.9 version, I immediately started getting text messages again and everything is syncing just fine. I get text messages, my yahoo mails come in with full info and not just a "..." listed.

I don't have the options to roll back the Fitbit app. I've already looked for this.

2.9.-what?  Which 2.9 did you download?

I downloaded from  google play.  The only version I see is the new one. Which is 3.1.   There was not an option for the older version.  I could not find it, if there is.

I just went in on the Fitbit website and downloaded 2.91 version. I got a message this was an unsafe download, but downloaded it anyway.  I uninstalled the new version and installed the version I downloaded 2.91. I did have to give it permission to install since chrome thinks its unsafe. My text are back to working now.  I also turned off my auto update, so Fitbit would not update.

Since the latest update my Blaze is no longer receiving text messages from my Android phone. I've tried reinstalling the app and every other suggestion that is on this community. Any other help from anyone that has had the same problem. Thanks in advance.
