Blaze not reflecting route taken via GPS

Walked over three miles tonight; wanted to see my route, but Blaze did not show it...only reflecting my distance, time, cardio, fat burned, etc. No route. Looked at "walk" and see a grayed-out place that reads, "GPS will not be turned on"...what does that mean? I track my walk and it always shows the route I took...not tonight. Can't figure out why. Bummed!

I've been having trouble also. My watch just won't sub with my phone's GPS at all. However, sib you have your phone with you, use the app to track. It works for me.

Hello @Scarlettann and @bjjmomma77!  If you are experiencing issues with the Connected GPS please reboot your phone and restart your Blaze as instructed here.  Also of here is the troubleshoot if you are getting any of this errors:

- Phone Not Found: Users may see the following error state if their tracker is unable to connect to their phone. If this happens, please ensure the following: phone is within range, your app is open, phone is charged up, Bluetooth enabled and bonded, and Internet connection is present.
- Check Fitbit App: If you come across this error, there may be a bit of action required. Please ensure that your app is open, you are logged into your account, and that location services are enabled.

Let me know if this helps!

@AngelaMa - Phone not found is the issue. My Bluetooth is on and phone is right next to the watch. I've done the troubleshooting. I've restarted, etc. Basically, I have to make sure WiFi is off, and stand in an open area for a minute or two before trying to use it. Usually that works. If not, whatever, as long as my steps are tracked. Why no one is willing to admit there may be an issue with the device is perplexing. Either way, things work... For the most.

Hello @bjjmomma77 At least two dozen GPS satellites are constantly in orbit around the Earth and broadcasting data. All GPS devices, require a direct path to these satellites in order to receive their radio transmissions. If the signal is being blocked—either because you're underground, near many tall buildings, or as a result of atmospheric effects—GPS will not work. This might be why it only works when you are in an open area for a minute.

Hope this helps! 🙂
