Blaze not registering all calories burned

Hi.

I have just received a replacement Blaze, and when I did my usual workout at the gym which is approx. 500 calories from cross trainer and exercise bike, it only showed 150 calories. I had to enter the exercise manually to register my true workout. I have checked my settings and cannot see anything obvious that is wrong, and the Fitbit seems to be working well otherwise. If anyone has any suggestions how to fix this issue, then I would be very grateful.

Thanks.

It's nice to have you on board @mimiwooding.

Could you please provide me with some screenshots of your calories information and tell me how are you registering your workouts? In the meantime, I recommend checking the information in the help article How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?.

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

Hi, and thanks for your reply.

I have attached screenshots of my workout this morning. The gym machines showed I burned 535 calories, and my fitbit showed I burned 169. My fitbit has always registered a lower calorie burn than the gym machines, but not to this extent.

I would really appreciate your help with this,

Thanks,

Faith Hancox.
