Blaze not registering heart rate or sleep

My Fitbit will no longer register sleep tracking such as rem and etc as well as not tracking my heart rate.

Hi there @Mama_holland.  Great to see you in the Forums! 🙂

 

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your heart rate and your sleep not being recorded 😕 I'd like to help you out with this.

 

Now, in order for your Blaze to track your sleep, it will rely on your heart rate information and if your heart rate is not being tracked, this could be the reason why your sleep is also not been recorded.

 

Now, about your heart rate. Are you able to see the green lights flashing on the back of your Blaze? If not, you could try to give your Blaze a restart and see if this makes the lights to come back on. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

 

After that, see if your heart rate is being tracked again and try wearing your Blaze to sleep and see if it now records your sleep as well.

I just did as you stated and it reset but the tracker still will not register any heart rate.   At this point the screen only comes on if I push the button now as it wont turn on if i turn my watch towards me any longer.  
Thank you for your help....ahhhh

Tried all the above.  Sent Fitbit pictures.  Their reply:  Sorry can’t help. Offered 25% discount.  Can buy new one elsewhere for less.  Mine is only 3-4 months out of warranty.

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps.  Even contacted support via chat.  My Blaze first stopped tracking heart rate, then sleep tracking went.  Now it isn't recording my active hours.  What's next?!  Restart, reboot, adjust sleep time, reset.  Been there, done that.  I'm not interested in being talked through another round of steps that result in nothing.  I thought I really liked my Blaze.  Now that I'm faced with having to replace it after such a short lifespan, I'm rethinking it.  I would just like a concrete solution to this problem.  Seems like I'm not the only one.

I spent two or three months off and on trying to get my Blaze to work. Tried community, internet, and Fitbit. Called Fitbit numerous times and exchanged several emails. Fitbit finally repacked mine free of charge. I was only about two weeks out of warranty. So far so good.
